MONDAY TOWN / DATA LICENSING
Who buys business records, and how does an introduction work?
Understand who signs and pays, how Monday Town helps you speak with a buyer and when preparation needs a separate scope.
The company that introduces an opportunity may have a different job from the company that signs the agreement or pays you. Ask each person what they do before choosing a path.
Who is the buyer?
A buyer may be an AI company or a company licensing records for AI training and research. Your agreement should identify the company signing with you, who pays you and the allowed uses of your records. Ask who else may receive an agreed copy.
How does Monday Town help you speak with a buyer?
Monday Town offers free guidance about the opportunity and helps arrange a meeting with a suitable data buyer. We explain the buyer’s requirements and included preparation before you decide whether to proceed. You can speak with the buyer without paying Monday Town a consulting fee.
An introduction does not guarantee acceptance or a payment. Understand the records, rights, payment milestones and any restrictions in the actual agreement.
What does an introducer or preparation service do?
An introducer may connect you to a buyer and receive a referral payment. A preparation service may offer a defined job, such as organizing or reconstructing records. A referral alone does not prove that someone will prepare records, negotiate a better offer or provide access you could not obtain yourself.
Ask what work you need, who will do it and who pays for it. The buyer pays Monday Town. We charge you no consulting fee, and if your records need preparation, we explain any separate costs before you decide. You choose whether an introduction makes sense.
Next, understand which preparation the buyer includes and when substantial recovery or reconstruction could need a separate specialist.
